Last year a request from Orchard Lea Nursing Home, Cullompton, saw Walter H. Squires & Son provide a luxury hamper as a raffle prize for their summer fete which helped the event raise approximately £1,000.00.

Orchard Lea are holding another fete, this time on Saturday 19th July 2014, and once again Walter H. Squires & Son are proud to support such a worthy local facility.

In a recent letter, Orchard Lea explained that the little extras they provide, to improve the residents' quality of life, are soley funded by their Amenity Fund. Through the year they undertake fundraising events to boost the fund; the money raised enables Orchard Lea to provide entertainers and arrange day trips to local attractions.

Ryan Squires, Walter H. Squires & Son’s company director, said "The hampers we donate are supplied by Peggy's Pantry, another local Cullompton company, reinforcing the importance that we as a company place on strong community links. I'm so pleased we will be able to help and put a smile on the face of the person who wins the hamper and the people who will benefit from the funds it helps to raise."
