The 2nd Ready Teddy Go Teddy Bear Parachute Jump takes place at Exeter Cathedral Green on Saturday 13th October 2012, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and Walter H. Squires & Son are proud to be providing the funding for the children's bouncy castle which will be part of the many attractions on the day.
Oranised by John and Lyn Burgoyne, of Burgoynes Estate Agents, another well established family business in Exeter, the event promises to be a great family day, packed with fun and entertainment.
Entry is free and open to all ages, but all teddies must register in advance to be guaranteed a jump, and entrants must raise a minimum of £10.00 sponsorship per bear.
The commentary is being provided by Radio Exe, and Rob Newby, the new Lord Mayor for Exeter and an ex London fire-fighter will be opening the event at 11:00 a.m. His teddy bear will be the first to complete the jump.
Walter H. Squires & Son have a long and proud history of supporting local events, clubs and charities and this latest gift of support, along with a recent partnership with Exeter City Football Club sees the company begin to cement its relationship with the people of Exeter and become a truly valued part of the community.
