In keeping with their commitment to supporting the local community Walter H. Squires & Son recently arranged to sponsor the Heard Open Triples at the Culm Vale Bowls Club on Saturday 5th July.

In the past similar matches have been sponsored, in association with Golden Charter Funeral Plans, at the West End Bowls Club, Tiverton but this is the first time such an event has been supported in the Culm Valley Area.

Commenting on the event Melanie Squires said "We have always considered it important to support our local community and as we have recently opened our new premises in Cullompton we decided to ask the Culm Vale Bowls Club if there was any way in which we could help and were delighted when we were given the oppourtunity to support them."
