After years of struggling to find adequate facilities to house Walter H. Squires & Son’s Mercedes fleet the solution was found in May of this year.
A chance conversation led to the discovery of a lock up unit that wasn’t yet advertised with local estate agents and provided the solution to the garaging problems, but due to the size of the unit there was a lot of extra potential due to unused roof space.
The unit was purchased immediately and straight away the decision was made to install a mezzanine floor after which the coffin fitting workshops and stores were moved from Walter H. Squires & Son’s Wellbrook Street premises to the new facility.
Commenting on the new premises Ryan Squires said “The new facility allows us to not only ensure our vehicles are kept secure and in the best possible condition, it also allows us to keep a larger and better choice of coffins, caskets and fittings for bereaved families to choose from. The moving of the workshops and stores also means we have made space available in our Wellbrook Street premises which can be used for future expansion of the current offices.”
