CHIVERS Wing Commander David John MBE RAFVR(T) Retired

Sheila and her daughters Alison and Judi wish to announce that on Friday 23rd October 2020, we lost our dear 88 year-old husband, dad and grandad, David Chivers. Although he was widely known, greatly appreciated (not only for his jokes), highly respected and extremely hard working, (prepared to do anything to help people), he was loved most by us his family. He has left a massive void which will not easily be filled. Rest in peace our royally honoured gentleman. David’s funeral service will be a private occasion with family flowers only, in line with public health efforts. If anyone would like to make a donation to The Royal Air Force Association, The British Heart Foundation and Marie Curie in memory of David, cheques made payable to W.H.
